A selection of tungsten and titanium rings showing different profiles, widths, colours and surface finishes.

Rings

Our rings put two remarkable engineering materials on your hand. Choose the reassuring weight of tungsten or the lighter feel of titanium, then find the profile, width and finish that suits how you want the ring to look and feel.

About Rings

Two materials, two very different experiences

Our tungsten rings have a substantial feel that makes the material immediately noticeable. Titanium rings take the opposite approach: strong and metallic, but much lighter on the hand.

The difference is not about one material being better. It is about what you want to feel every day. Tungsten gives weight and presence. Titanium keeps things light.

Choose the profile before the finish

Project Atomic rings come in three core profiles. D shape is flat on the inside and domed on the outside. Flat court has a flatter exterior with a rounded inside. Bevelled styles introduce angled edges that change both the outline and the way light moves across the ring.

Widths range from 2.5mm to 8mm depending on style. The Tungsten 5F is one place to start if you want a clean flat profile. Once you know the shape you prefer, finishes include natural metal, polished and brushed surfaces, hammered texture, black, blue and gold-plated options.

For a darker finish, browse the black tungsten rings. For general ordering and product questions, see our frequently asked questions.

Find the right ring size

Ring size matters more than the number printed on a product page. Width and profile can affect how a ring feels, particularly as you move towards broader 6mm and 8mm styles. Most Project Atomic styles run from M to Z+1, but the exact sizes available are listed on each product page.

Tungsten and titanium rings cannot be resized. Project Atomic provides a ring size guide to help customers choose before ordering, alongside an exchange policy if a different size is needed.

A good choice should still feel interesting after the novelty of the colour or finish has worn off. That is where tungsten and titanium earn their place in the range: each has a recognisable physical character that you notice when the ring is actually on your hand.

Prices across the ring range run from £60 to £95. That gives you room to choose primarily by material and design rather than treating the most visually elaborate option as automatically the most valuable. The interesting part is what the ring is made from and how that material has been shaped.

This is why it makes sense to choose in stages: material first, then profile, width and finish. It is easier to find the right ring when each decision has a clear job rather than treating dozens of styles as unrelated products.

The finish then changes how that geometry reads. A polished surface gives stronger reflections. Brushing makes the surface quieter. Hammering breaks it into many small facets. Black and blue finishes introduce colour, while gold-plated tungsten uses a familiar jewellery colour over a much less conventional underlying material.

The collection is deliberately material-first. Project Atomic is not trying to recreate conventional jewellery in unusual colours. The point is to take materials with their own technical character and turn them into objects that work on the hand. That gives every choice a physical consequence, from the mass of tungsten to the lightness of titanium and from a broad flat surface to a narrow domed profile.

Questions

Tungsten or titanium: which ring should I choose?

Choose tungsten if you want a ring with noticeable weight and a substantial feel. Choose titanium if you prefer something much lighter on the hand. Both are unusual alternatives to conventional jewellery metals, but they create very different wearing experiences. Profile, width and finish should then narrow the choice further.

How do I find my ring size?

Use an accurate ring measurement rather than guessing from another item of jewellery. The correct size can also depend on ring width and profile, particularly with broader bands. Most Project Atomic styles are listed from M to Z+1, depending on the product. Check the individual product page for the exact size range.

Can your rings be resized?

No. Project Atomic tungsten and titanium rings cannot be resized. Use the ring size guide before ordering to choose as accurately as possible. If the size is not right, Project Atomic offers an exchange policy rather than physically resizing the ring.

Are the rings unisex?

Yes. Project Atomic rings are presented by material, profile, width and finish rather than by gender. Choose the combination that suits your hand and the way you want the ring to look and feel.

What widths do the rings come in?

Widths range from 2.5mm to 8mm depending on the style. Available widths include 2.5mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm across the collection. Check each product page for the exact combination of width, profile, finish and available ring sizes.
