About Project Atomic

Project Atomic exists to make extraordinary materials tangible. We take materials better known for engineering, science and specialist applications and turn them into objects you can hold, use, display and keep. From unexpectedly dense metal cubes to tungsten carbide and Grade 2 titanium rings, the point is not to disguise the material. It is to let its weight, feel, finish and physical properties become the reason the object exists.

Extraordinary materials, made tangible

Project Atomic makes cubes, rings and everyday objects from materials chosen because there is something genuinely interesting about them. Density, hardness, weight and feel become part of the product rather than background specifications. The result is a collection built around a simple idea: remarkable materials are more interesting when you can experience them first-hand.

Our tungsten

Our tungsten cubes use 95% to 97% tungsten alloy, depending on material availability: 95WNiFe to 97WNiFe or 95WNiCu to 97WNiCu. That high tungsten content is what gives the cubes their defining characteristic: a surprising amount of mass concentrated into a very small volume.

From material to object

Each Project Atomic product starts with the material and the property worth experiencing. We source specialist materials, and our manufacturing process turns them into precisely specified cubes, rings and practical objects, finished and packaged for everyday ownership. The aim is to preserve what makes the material interesting rather than cover it with unnecessary decoration.
