About this piece

The bevels at full scale

The 8mm tungsten bevelled edge ring gives the faceted profile its broadest canvas. Natural grey tungsten carbide stretches across a wide central face, with angled edges cutting a distinct border along either side.

Built around visual presence

This is not the discreet option in the range. Eight millimetres occupies noticeably more of the finger, and tungsten’s density reinforces that scale as soon as the ring is worn. The bevelled edges prevent the broad surface from reading as one flat block, introducing changing planes at its boundaries. Inside, the comfort-fit band is engraved with the F maker’s mark.

Compare it with narrower tungsten rings or see the other Bevelled Edge rings. Use the ring size guide before selecting your size.

Questions

How do I find my ring size?

Use Project Atomic’s ring size guide before ordering and measure carefully rather than relying on a remembered size. Width and profile can affect how a ring feels on the finger, so getting the starting size right matters. The rings use a comfort-fit interior, and Project Atomic doesn’t resize rings.

What if the ring doesn't fit?

If the size is wrong, send the ring back unworn within 30 days and Project Atomic will exchange it for another size where possible. Check the ring size guide before ordering, especially if you are moving between a narrow and wider band, as width can change how a ring feels.

Will a tungsten ring scratch?

Tungsten carbide is very hard and resists everyday scratches far better than softer metals, but no ring is scratch-proof. Coated and plated finishes can also behave differently from the underlying tungsten carbide. Normal care is still sensible if you want to preserve the finish for as long as possible.

Can a tungsten ring be resized?

Project Atomic doesn’t offer resizing, and tungsten carbide is far too hard to stretch or cut down the way gold or silver can be. Choose your size with the ring size guide before ordering. If the fit is wrong, an unworn ring can be exchanged within 30 days.

What is the F engraved inside the band?

The “F” is Project Atomic’s maker’s mark and stands for Fahrenheit. It is a nod to the extreme melting temperatures associated with the materials Project Atomic works with, and it is engraved inside every ring as a small piece of the brand’s material-science identity.

How noticeable is an 8mm bevelled tungsten ring?

Eight millimetres is the broadest width in this range, so the band has strong visual presence across the finger. The angled bevels add further definition by separating the wide centre face from the edges, while tungsten carbide gives the ring a substantial physical feel to match its proportions.

What changes when the bevelled profile moves from 6mm to 8mm?

The wider band gives both the central face and the overall silhouette more scale. The bevels still frame the ring, but there is more flat surface between them, so the contrast between the centre and angled edges becomes a larger part of the design.
