About this piece

Three surfaces instead of one

The 6mm tungsten bevelled edge ring uses its width to show off the profile. A flat central face is bordered by angled edges, breaking the natural grey tungsten carbide into distinct planes rather than one continuous surface.

A balanced width with extra definition

Six millimetres gives the ring clear presence without moving into the broad proportions of the 8mm band. The bevels sharpen that presence further: as the angle changes, the edge facets catch light differently from the centre and outline the band. Tungsten’s density makes the physical impression just as noticeable as the geometry.

Questions

How do I find my ring size?

Use Project Atomic’s ring size guide before ordering and measure carefully rather than relying on a remembered size. Width and profile can affect how a ring feels on the finger, so getting the starting size right matters. The rings use a comfort-fit interior, and Project Atomic doesn’t resize rings.

What if the ring doesn't fit?

If the size is wrong, send the ring back unworn within 30 days and Project Atomic will exchange it for another size where possible. Check the ring size guide before ordering, especially if you are moving between a narrow and wider band, as width can change how a ring feels.

Will a tungsten ring scratch?

Tungsten carbide is very hard and resists everyday scratches far better than softer metals, but no ring is scratch-proof. Coated and plated finishes can also behave differently from the underlying tungsten carbide. Normal care is still sensible if you want to preserve the finish for as long as possible.

Can a tungsten ring be resized?

Project Atomic doesn’t offer resizing, and tungsten carbide is far too hard to stretch or cut down the way gold or silver can be. Choose your size with the ring size guide before ordering. If the fit is wrong, an unworn ring can be exchanged within 30 days.

What is the F engraved inside the band?

The “F” is Project Atomic’s maker’s mark and stands for Fahrenheit. It is a nod to the extreme melting temperatures associated with the materials Project Atomic works with, and it is engraved inside every ring as a small piece of the brand’s material-science identity.

What do the bevelled edges add to the 6mm band?

They divide the exterior into a flat central face and two angled edge surfaces. At 6mm wide, there is enough room for all three planes to be visible, so the ring changes subtly with the light and looks more faceted than either a flat or D-shaped profile.

How broad does a 6mm tungsten ring look?

Six millimetres gives the band definite presence without being the widest option in the range. It is broader than the 5mm styles but two millimetres narrower than the 8mm bands, creating a balanced proportion that still leaves room for the bevelled edges to register clearly.
